3DMAX and Astralis advance to FISSURE Playground #1 playoffs
On July 17, the decisive matches of Groups B and C at the FISSURE Playground #1 tournament ended. 3DMAX and Astralis won – both teams advanced to the playoffs, where they will continue to fight for the title.
3DMAX knocked out paiN
3DMAX coped with paiN in the elimination match from Group B. The first map, Ancient, was held under the control of 3DMAX and ended with a score of 13:8. At Nuke paiN, they imposed a fight, brought the matter to overtime, but lost in the decisive moments – 17:19.
The best player of the match was Bryan “Maka” Canda, who scored 50 frags and showed 83.7 average damage per round. Full match statistics can be found here.
PaiN finishes the tournament in 9th-12th place and receives $10,000 in prize money for the players, as well as $5,000 for the organization. 3DMAX advances to the playoffs, where they will compete for a slot in the semifinals.
