Astralis defeated B8 at IEM Cologne 2025 without any problems
Astralis closed the series against B8 with a score of 2:0 on maps at IEM Cologne 2025 — on Mirage (13:2) and Inferno (16:12). The first map, chosen by B8, was held under the full control of the Danes: they dominated from the very start and did not give up a single round in the second half. The second map, already the pick of Astralis, turned out to be more tense — B8 tried to impose a fight and even led the score, but still could not put the squeeze on and lost in the end.
The best player of the match was Jacob “jabbi” Nygaard, who showed an incredibly stable game throughout the series. He finished the match with a score of 39 kills with 19 deaths and 98 ADR.
The defeat sent B8 to the lower bracket, where the team will try to keep the chances of continuing the fight. Their next opponent is the loser of the match FlyQuest against FURIA.
