Liquid sensationally lost to Sashi at ESL Pro League Season 22: European Qualifier
As part of ESL Pro League Season 22: European Qualifier, Liquid lost to Sashi, the team in the 62nd position in VRS, as well as a replacement. The match ended with a score of 1:2 and the Liquid team was eliminated from the tournament, failing to qualify for Stage 2. Liquid took only their map Mirage (13:10), but lost on Nuke (8:13) and the decisive Inferno (6:13).

This result means that Liquid are sensationally eliminated, taking 9-16 place in the qualifiers and not making it to Stage 2, not to mention the main part of ESL Pro League Season 22. Sashi, thanks to the victory, advance to Stage 2 and continue to fight for the exit.
Despite the failure, Liquid’s management last week announced confidence in the current roster, and that there will be no changes. However, after such an early departure, this decision raises more and more doubts. Especially given the fact that the entire team finished the series with negative statistics.
